Services for Homeowners and Developers
The purpose of a governing agency is to oversee projects from conceptual phase through design and construction phases and ensure that work is done in the best interest of the individual and the community. The review process can be lengthy and costly, particularly when it is difficult to determine feasibility of a proposed design and impacts to surrounding areas. We are happy to meet with you and the governing agency throughout the design review process to discuss the logistics involved in successfully completing your challenging construction project.
In addition to construction services we are also certified to provide Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) services on large- and small-scale projects. The Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program was created to minimize effects of construction stormwater discharge in all waterways. Haven Geotechnical Construction employs Qualified SWPPP Developers (QSD) to create project-specific SWPPP and Qualified SWPPP Practitioners (QSP) to observe, monitor, document and report per approved project SWPPP. Our expert staff creates and implements efficient, compliant SWPPP by understanding the characteristics of each project site to:
- Reduce permit delays due to inadequate SWPPP
- Employ the most appropriate Best Management Practices (BMPs)
- Reduce project costs
- Meet current California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA) guidelines and current County and Local City agency standards
- Limit exposure to criminal and civil penalties that often result from poor stormwater management and pollution prevention practices
